The Alleghany Highlands Triathlon will take place on Saturday, May 21st with a 5K Run, 5 Mile Paddle and 10 Mile Bike in Clifton Forge, VA, The race begins at the Sharon Community Center in Clifton Forge at 4017 Nicelytown Road, Clifton Forge. The finish line and celebration will be at the Masonic Amphitheater on Church Street in downtown CFVA. We will be serving boxed lunches from Bartley’s Meat Market with bbq with all the trimmings, mac n cheese, baked beans, and potatoes for all race participants. Spectators can purchase lunch if they wish. Packet pick-up and registration will be 5:30-7pm May 20th at Jack Mason’s Tavern and 7:30 am at The Sharon Community Center on May 21st. The overall male and female top finisher will each receive a free 1 night stay for 2 at the Omni Homestead Resort (Sun.-Thurs.)!Medals or trophies will be given for top finishers in multiple age groups as well as teams.
This is a great event for all levels of participants in both the solo and team competitions.
