Event Description
The 2023 event features three events/distances:
In-person 3K run/walk – March 25, 2023 – Begins at 9:40 a.m.
In-person 8K run/walk – March 25, 2023 – Begins at 9:30 a.m.
Virtual 5K – Anywhere and anytime between March 4 and March 25, 2023 (must report results by 3/26/2023)
Awards
3K – Top overall male and female finishers receive cash and a medal. Top 3 finishers in each age group receive a medal. Age groups are: 8 and under, 9-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 years & up.
8K – Top 3 overall male and female finishers receive cash and a medal. Top 3 finishers in each age group receive a medal. Age groups are: 8 and under, 9-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 years & up.
Ann Burruss Memorial 8K Awards
Youngest and oldest male and female 8K finishers receive gift cards. Finishers must complete the race under their own power.
Middle of the pack finisher. The person whose finishing time is exactly in the middle (even numbers round up) receives a gift card.
